Enabling 2FA (Custom Panel)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your OnePoundEmail client area account. Even if your password is compromised, an attacker cannot log in without your second factor.

How to Enable 2FA

The OnePoundEmail client area is hosted at my.onepoundemail.co.uk. Follow these steps to enable 2FA on your account:

  1. Log in to my.onepoundemail.co.uk.
  2. Click on your name or profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Security Settings.
  4. Under the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Enable.
  5. Scan the QR code using an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
  6. Enter the 6-digit code shown in your app to confirm the setup.
  7. Save any backup codes provided. Store them somewhere safe.
2FA is now active. You will be prompted for a code from your authenticator app each time you log in to the client area.

Tips and Recovery

  • Keep Backup Codes Safe Store your backup codes securely offline, such as in a password manager or a printed copy kept in a safe place.
  • Lost Your Phone Use one of your backup codes to log in if you no longer have access to your authenticator app.
  • Locked Out If you have no backup codes and cannot access your authenticator app, contact our support team for assistance.
