1. Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
Occasionally, legitimate emails may be filtered into spam. Check your Spam or Junk folder first before investigating further. If you find emails there incorrectly, mark them as "Not Spam" to help train your filter.
2. Verify Your Email Quota
If your mailbox is full, new emails will be rejected by the server. Log in to your control panel and check your mailbox storage. If it is full, delete old emails or upgrade your plan for more storage.
3. Confirm MX Records
Make sure your domain's MX records are correctly set and fully propagated. Incorrect or missing MX records will prevent emails from being delivered to your mailbox. Use an online MX lookup tool to verify they point to OnePoundEmail's servers.
4. SPF and DKIM Setup
Improper SPF or DKIM settings can cause incoming emails to be rejected or silently marked as spam. Verify your DNS records are set up correctly. See the SPF, DKIM and DMARC guide for help.
5. Check Email Forwarding and Filters
If you have forwarding rules or spam filters configured, check that they are not redirecting or deleting emails unexpectedly. Review your forwarders in the control panel under Email Forwarders.
6. Test with a Different Sender
Send a test email to your address from a different email account (e.g. a Gmail or Outlook address). If the test arrives successfully, the issue may be specific to the original sender's mail server.
7. Contact Support
If the issue continues after checking all of the above, contact our support team with details including your domain name, the sender's address, and any error messages received.
